I am Sonya-Prajna…

I have always been a creative soul, striving to become my true, authentic self by learning new skills, exploring possibilities and discovering various teachings. My journey has led me down many paths that have allowed me to experience and discover the many facets that life can offer. Along the way, a hidden jewel laid dormant within me until a spark was ignited, and my ability to paint revealed itself. I now understand, and follow, my calling to share this gift, among others, with the world.

My paintings unfold intuitively as a way to connect as you gaze upon them. They beckon you to go deep within, to find your inner self, your true source. My hope is that they bring you into a deeper understanding of hope, remything and magick.

  • I would have never imagined the artistic abilities lying latent within me. I have always enjoyed creating with my hands. However… my world shifted when a brush was placed in them…

  • The Muses touched me in an unexplainable way. I have been offered a gift that ignites the yearning to continue to learn, seek and grow.

  • With art, I am able to express emotions, especially within eyes. My paintings call you in as a way to help with self-discovery. 

Sonya-Prajna Artist Statement

           I am Sonya-Prajna, an Intuitive and Spiritual artist, painting magick. I create art from my sacred, heart-centered altar that reveal energies of the Unknown and Unseen into stylized portraits and paintings that evoke transformational feelings. My craft unfolds through symbols, messages and marks as alchemy at the soul level. My body of works portray the journey of one who desires to understand, gain insight and share what is discovered with the world. Creating imagery from Ancestors’ touch, I am a never-ending student, where The Sage continues to evolve as an advocate in partnership with the well of creativity.

Painting…applying medium to brush, brush to canvas…takes you to an imaginative place. And if you listen and seek, it becomes a place where nothing, becomes something, the invisible becomes visible. Alchemy…magick…unfolding.
